Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 ex-scholar Liezel Garcia continues to explore the world of showbiz as a singer and as a performer. ABS-CBN.com spoke with the fourth Star Dreamer during the taping of Pasko Na, Kapamilya! The ABS-CBN 55th Anniversary Christmas Special last December 16 at the Araneta Coliseum about the status of her first album under Star Records. “Hindi pa nasisimulan ‘yung album ko kasi uunahin muna ‘yung kay Bugoy (Drilon). Ang na-launch pa lang ‘yung kay Laarni (Lozada). ‘Yung kay Bugoy‘yung mga songs pa lang ang na-release, next pa ‘yung album. Alam ko next year na rin naka-schedule‘yung album ko so hopefully ma-process na rin. Sa last na sinabi sa akin ‘yung album ko planong gawing mala-R&B, mas maganda kasi ‘yun ang forte ko.”

For myself and for other “Pinoy Dream Academy” graduates, I wish for more projects. Singing is what we want and it would be great if we could continue living our dream. If there’s one thing about our batch on PDA, we are pretty solid and we support each other. For my batch mates and my family, I wish for our bond to grow stronger and for everyone to remain healthy. 

Bugoy Drilon
My wish is for all these blessings not to stop coming… not just for me, but also for my batch mates on “Pinoy Dream Academy.” I also wish for good health for my family, as well as for my friends’ families. I also pray for Filipinos to become more enlightened. We all know how negative some of us can be. I hope we will improve as a people next year. I wish my carabao Guppy would stop attacking me. After PDA, she no longer recognizes me.
